‘The Intimacy Project’ is a collaborative, live artwork that investigates the vital role of connection in both its physical and emotional forms. By encouraging the body to comfort, collaborate, and connect, the work shifts focus away from the historical precedence of the written word, prioritising instead our most overlooked intuitive senses. The piece actively dismantles barriers of alienation inside and outside the queer community, interrogating the fundamental and healing nature of platonic human touch within relationships. This boundary-pushing process is documented in an accompanying artist book, which captures the raw, dual perspectives of both the artist and the participants.
