When the artist was a baby, an eccentric family friend read their feet and confidently predicted they would grow up to be a lesbian. In an ironic twist of fate, the artist was never told this story until after coming out. This performance piece ponders whether that early reading was a prediction, a fortune, or a self-fulfilling prophecy. Taking the myth into their own hands, the artist now steps into the role of the seer, inviting audience members to have their own feet read to discover if they too are destined for lesbianism.
