Inspired by an old furniture shop billboard in Dundee, ‘Change Is Good, Transformation Is Even Better’ is a print which speaks to the freedom and promise that comes with transformation, particularly in the context of the transgender identity. The artwork reimagines transition not as a patchwork modification of an existing body, but as a glorious, intentional rebuilding of the self.

In tandem with ‘Shirt & Tie’ this art work considers clothes as a form of self expression and identity, embroidering the billboards mantra directly on to a tie.
