Through a multidisciplinary practice spanning paper making, photography, print, and book arts, the artist explores the complex terrains of identity and belonging. The work directly confronts the psychological weight of societal erasure, drawing upon profound feelings of non-existence. It examines the experience of marginalisation, where systemic forces attempt to illegitimise and invalidate an individual’s identity, rendering them unseen.

Visually, the project takes inspiration from an archival finding: an old book on ghost hunting. The artist identifies with the figure of the ghost. a presence that occupies space yet remains entirely intangible. This haunting metaphor dictates the aesthetic framework of the collection, where figures blur, fade, and hover on the periphery of visibility.
